Workplace Description
Are you ready for a bigger challenge? The Swedish Police Authority is Sweden's largest authority with about 40,000 employees across the country. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute to the Police's mission – to increase safety and reduce crime in society.
The Police Authority's Finance Department is tasked with designing and driving the authority's strategic governance and follow-up, which determines what the authority should achieve in terms of results and effects. The department allocates financial resources to ensure that the operations can reach the decided direction and follows up to ensure that the funds are used efficiently and sustainably.
We also ensure a range of other conditions for the police to achieve their goals, e.g., by meeting the operational needs for suitable premises as well as materials and equipment. We provide appropriate services in the areas of cleaning, vehicle service, and the operation of police training at educational institutions to contribute to a good working environment. We also coordinate the Police Authority's sustainability work and are responsible for the authority's national vehicle supply and internal traffic safety work.
