Maintenance Technician with a focus on Electrical and Automation

About the Position

At Maintenance, Workshops, and Stations, we are a team of ten employees working with various responsibilities such as planning, electrical and automation, and our mechanical workshop.

In this role as a maintenance technician, you will perform maintenance work focusing on electrical and automation for all water and wastewater facilities and installations in your work area. You will plan and prepare your own work, if necessary together with the facility manager, planner, or other relevant personnel at Vakin. In this role, you will participate in the development of work processes primarily within maintenance.

On-call duty may occur, and in case of resource shortages, you may need to be available in other work areas within water and wastewater.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have a relevant technical education at least at the high school level, preferably in electrical and automation or equivalent work experience. You have experience/knowledge in PLC programming and Swedish in speech and writing (at least SFI D-level). A valid driver's license (B) is required. We consider it an advantage if you have experience in documentation in reporting or maintenance systems, knowledge of electrical design, and A or AL authorization.

Additional Information

The position is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. We may apply a probationary period.
