Senior Project Managers for Boliden's Project Office

Your Role:

The Technology Department in Boliden's Mining Business Area is tasked with developing both existing and new technologies, managing investigations/project management, and providing expert knowledge. In the modern mine, automation, electrification, and digitalization are key concepts, and in your role, you will help drive that change.

The project office in the technology department is responsible for implementing the mines' largest investment projects, and as a project manager, you will be a key person ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and with high quality, prioritizing health, environment, and safety. Here we work together, and you will have many points of contact both internally and externally in the work of driving and executing the projects.

The team currently consists of six project managers and one project administrator, most of whom are stationed in Boliden. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to be stationed at another location close to where Boliden has its mining facilities. Since projects are carried out at our mines in Aitik, the Boliden area, Garpenberg, Tara, and Kevitsa, some travel is required.

Your Team:

We are now looking for three senior project managers to join our team, which currently consists of 6 project managers and one project administrator. All report to the head of the project department in technology.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for, lead, and coordinate both pre-projects and implementation projects at various sites
• Technical support
• Collaborate with the purchasing department, technology department, and other departments at Boliden
• Work with external resources and suppliers
• Follow technological developments in the world

Your Contribution:

• University or college education, preferably a Master of Science in Engineering or similar, or work experience that has provided you with equivalent knowledge
• Experience in project management
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English; Finnish is considered an asset
• Driver's license for passenger cars

It is advantageous if you have experience working in project models, have worked in industry, or have experience managing construction projects.
