Operations & Maintenance Manager at Vilhelmina Property Management AB

In the role of Operations and Maintenance Manager at VIFAB, you are an important part of the management of the municipality's and Vilhelmina Bostäder's properties. You work broadly within the company with many internal contacts as well as a lot of external contact with the company's customers and suppliers.

Your main responsibilities:

• Operations and maintenance planning – plan and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Project management – drive and coordinate smaller projects within the company's areas of responsibility.
• Work leadership and coordination – lead and distribute tasks within the operations and maintenance group and coordinate efforts with contractors and suppliers.
• Administrative support and documentation – ensure accurate reporting of operational status, work orders, technical systems, and follow-up of cases.
• Budget and cost monitoring – prepare documentation for budgeting and ensure cost control during maintenance work and projects.
• Work environment and safety – actively work on work environment issues and ensure that the right training, equipment, and routines are in place.

Since the position of Operations and Maintenance Manager acts as a bridge between our three units, Customer Service, Operations, and Maintenance, we are looking for someone who is used to working comprehensively in a coordinating role. You maintain a high work pace, are structured in your approach, are used to reviewing and absorbing large amounts of information, and understand the importance of ongoing documentation. An important part of the role is to ensure that the properties are managed according to agreements, regulatory requirements, and budget, as well as that the work is documented correctly. You possess the ability to work preventively rather than reactively.

Qualifications

• Documented experience in project management
• Post-secondary education relevant to the role or equivalent work experience
• Experience leading and coordinating workgroups and collaborating with contractors
• Experience in the real estate industry is an advantage
• Experience/knowledge of energy monitoring and operational optimization is a plus
• Good computer and system skills
• You express yourself well in speech and writing

The position is a permanent employment with a probationary period of the first six months. Applications will be evaluated continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Start date according to agreement.
