Region Västerbotten
Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and for research and innovation to yield results.
About NHHC
At the Neuro-Head-Neck Center (NHHC), approximately 650 employees work to investigate, treat, and rehabilitate diseases and injuries of the nervous system, brain, ears, nose, throat, and jaw. The center is a regional clinic providing highly specialized care for patients from the entire northern healthcare area. Research, education, and development are also conducted here. Our operations are accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation).
The Hearing Center
The Hearing Center is part of NHHC with clinics in Umeå, Skellefteå, and Lycksele. We are a regional clinic and should operate from a regional perspective, utilizing the combined resources as optimally as possible for the entire county. The Hearing Centers work with diagnostic measurements and fitting of hearing aids and cochlear implants. Technical hearing care provides technical support to hearing aid users and hearing technology aids for home and school.
