JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a facility manager, you play a central role in ensuring that our premises are a productive and pleasant workplace for our employees. You are responsible for parts of our office spaces with a focus on loose furniture and its ongoing maintenance. In this role, you will order services such as IT and cleaning, as well as be responsible for ordering furniture, accessories, and equipment. In addition to maintaining and developing existing office spaces, you will also be part of projects to implement new concepts that contribute to creating functional, cost-effective, and pleasant premises.
At Skellefteå municipality, we always strive to find sustainable solutions. You will have an important role in organizing, utilizing, and reusing the municipality's previous purchases of loose furniture. Your interest and knowledge in office design will be a significant factor in understanding how the work environment affects our employees' performance and well-being. You actively work to create workplaces where sustainability is in focus, and where the reuse of resources and materials is an integral part of the design process. Additionally, you will lead and participate in building councils with the operations, as well as document, inform about, and follow up on agreed actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in the field or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways. You have previous experience in developing and managing services that improve the workplace experience. If you also have knowledge and experience in office design, we consider that an advantage. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written. Experience with budget responsibility is also considered an advantage.
As a person, you are well-organized and can independently plan and structure your work. You are ambitious and do what it takes to meet deadlines and achieve good results. To succeed in this role, you need to be skilled at establishing good relationships and enjoy close collaboration with others.
A valid B driver's license is required for the position.
OTHER
The Support and Premises administration is tasked with coordinating and developing effective support so that the municipality's operations can focus on their various main tasks and provide more efficient service to the municipality's residents. We are responsible for the municipality's overall coordination and development of services in areas such as meals, property, personnel, finance, procurement, information, customer service, and IT.
