Do you have a strong interest in production technology and want to take a key role in Norrmejerier's production development? We are now looking for a Production Technician!

Your everyday life with us

Choosing Norrland products matters – now and in the future – for Swedish food production, local production, jobs, and our open landscapes. As a Production Technician, you play an important role in the manufacturing of our Norrland dairy products. You are responsible for a broad area where you ensure and optimize process flows for deliveries. In your daily work, you support production by driving technical improvement work. You do this by analyzing production and process data, identifying deviations and opportunities for improvements. In close collaboration with production and maintenance, you create and realize plans to continuously increase productivity and profitability.

Your everyday work also involves project work together with colleagues from other departments and external contacts to constantly develop and improve productivity and product quality. You will be involved when products are created from idea to when they reach the customers.

The position is a permanent employment located at the Umeå dairy where you are part of the Production Technology department. You report to the Head of Production Technology.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering degree or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You have documented education in or practical experience from production technology/process technology work. It is an advantage if you have education or practical experience from work in change and development projects, as well as experience in developing production flows. It is also an advantage if you have experience in producing and understanding technical documentation, have worked with production efficiency (TAK), and have knowledge in robot automation/programming.

You who are applying are analytical, goal-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player with the ability to create motivation and energy while being able to work independently. There are demands for personal responsibility in planning and developing your own work. You are structured and results-oriented in your work to achieve set goals. The work involves both internal and external contact areas, therefore we believe you are attentive to your surroundings and gain energy from building relationships. In a simple and understandable way, you handle and transfer information, both verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

Travel between our facilities is part of the job, therefore a B driver's license is an advantage.

We offer you

Norrland milk production is a prerequisite for sustainable food supply in the long term. We think and act long-term based on nature's limitations.
