Job Responsibilities

The work involves psychological counseling, diagnostics, treatment, and handling of incoming and outgoing referrals. Treatment is provided both in groups and individually. At the health center, we work with triage, which means that the psychologist is responsible for an initial assessment of mental health issues. You need to be able to assess and initiate ADHD investigations.

You will work independently with adults aged 18 and over and also collaborate with other professional categories at the health center. We have a very close collaboration with MammaMia (Maternal and Child Health).

Supervision and training assignments for other staff may occur. As a psychologist, you will be part of our psychosocial team consisting of a psychologist and a nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed psychologist with good knowledge of diagnostics and evidence-based treatment methods. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience working in a health center.

You have good structure in your work, a strong initiative, and high flexibility. To be successful in your work, you need to contribute to good patient flows at the health center through interdisciplinary work.

We place great importance on your ability to work independently, work well in a team, and have a good ability and willingness to develop the operations.

The Täby Centrum Health Center is located in the heart of Täby Centrum. In March, we moved into new premises in the mall together with Mama Mia and BVC. We have specialists in general medicine, training doctors, junior doctors, district nurses, nurses, psychotherapists, and nursing assistants. The reception has over 7000 registered patients. Our common goal is to offer good and close care to all patients with commitment, empathy, and competence, and to be a pleasant workplace for all our wonderful employees.

A personal approach from familiar staff is one of the foundations of our operations. Our operations are environmentally certified and are revised annually based on environmental and quality aspects.
