Join our team
As a Production Engineer, you will belong to the Surface Division. This is the division at Epiroc that develops, manufactures, and markets equipment for rock and exploration drilling. The machines are used worldwide in various applications within road and water construction, geotechnical construction, quarries, and mines.
You will be part of an engaged production engineering group consisting of 35 employees. Here, preparation engineers, project managers, and industrialization engineers work closely together to achieve common goals. We focus on innovation, quality, and efficiency, and we are looking for a team player who shares our values and ambitions.
Your mission
As a Production Engineer, you will be an important part of our team in the Surface Division. We work on developing, manufacturing, and marketing high-quality equipment for rock and exploration drilling used worldwide.
In your role, you will:
- Drive continuous improvements to shorten lead times, improve quality, and increase delivery reliability.
- Operationally troubleshoot in our production.
- Design assembly sequences, instructions, and checklists.
- Develop and implement assembly aids such as fixtures and torque tools.
- Participate in the analysis and development of testing and control methods in our production flows.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure that production needs are met at all stages.
Location and travel
This position is based in Örebro, Sweden. Travel may occur as needed.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with documented experience in production engineering work or someone with a university degree in a relevant field and knowledge of LEAN methodology in the manufacturing or assembly industry. Your interest in production engineering issues and your determination to achieve complete results are crucial qualities for this role. In this position, communication will be in both Swedish and English, so it is important that you have good skills in both spoken and written forms of both languages. You should also enjoy solving complex problems and be ready to support the business in the best way possible. Building and maintaining relationships is an important part of the job, and we are looking for a person who enjoys managing many different contact points.
Other necessary qualities include the ability to organize your work effectively and to collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve desired results. With energy and inspiration, you want to take production technology to the next level together with your team.
