Job Description

We are now looking for an SQM or SQE who wants to be part of an exciting journey in the defense industry. As an SQM or SQE, you will have the opportunity to work very independently within your area of responsibility. You will have many points of contact, primarily with suppliers in Sweden, Europe, and the USA/Canada. You will collaborate internally with engineering, purchasing, legal, and production.

In this role, it is central to ensure good quality through proactive work with suppliers. This may include:

• Planning and conducting audits
• Product inspections
• Setting quality requirements in contracts
• Risk analyses
• Working to develop suppliers and supplier relationships.

The position also includes investigations when a deviation has occurred. This means requesting and evaluating quality and deviation reports from suppliers and developing collaboration with suppliers proactively so that they have the capacity to meet the customer's requirements and expectations. A number of trips per year are included in the position.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have a specialization in quality or other relevant education.

Different focuses in the role may be relevant, and if you have experience in mechanics or electronics & systems, it is an advantage.

You should have practical experience in quality work in the manufacturing industry, and it is advantageous if you come from the automotive industry. Since many of our customers are international, you need to have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

To thrive in the role, you are expected to take significant personal responsibility. You have a systematic and structured working method, are driven, and take independent initiative for action and follow-up. You are a person with good communication skills who easily builds good relationships since you will have many different points of contact both within the company and with suppliers. You have the ability to build and develop long-term business relationships while being encouraging and challenging in your mission to support suppliers in their process and improvement work.

The position requires that you undergo and be approved in a security screening, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
