Are you a recent graduate or junior production engineer with an interest in machining and industrial optimization? Then we have an exciting consulting assignment for you!

About the role

We are looking for a junior production engineer for a long-term assignment within the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will work closely with experienced production engineers and gain a unique opportunity to develop within a broad technical role. The assignment involves shadowing a senior technician with specialist knowledge, with the goal of eventually being able to take over and assume a key role in the organization.

You will work on a variety of tasks, including:

• Optimization of manufacturing processes and production flows
• Machine investments and technical development
• Drawing documentation and FMEA
• CE marking and safety aspects within production
• Cross-functional collaboration with production management, quality department, projects, and design

The role involves many points of contact and a great variety of tasks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in innovative thinking and development related to machines and production flows.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• Have a relevant technical education, likely a mechanical engineer or similar
• Have a strong interest in machining and a desire to develop in the field
• Are analytical, solution-oriented, and thrive in a broad technical role
• Enjoy taking responsibility and collaborating with different departments
• Have the ability to read and understand drawings, or a willingness to learn more
• Are curious, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic work environment

We are looking for a personality as much as a competence. You may be a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, but the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and a desire to grow into the role. This is a consulting assignment with a good opportunity for employment with the client company after an initial period. We are looking for an individual who wants to develop long-term and become an important part of the client's team.
