Your Role

As a Mechanical Designer in Ground Combat at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga, you will play a central role in the development of mechanical systems for advanced defense technology. You will be part of an innovative team where you both create future products and further develop existing solutions.

Examples of your tasks:

• 3D modeling and creation of drawing documentation
• Technical studies and exploration of new technologies
• Creative problem-solving in cross-functional project teams
• Analysis and evaluation of test results, including test firings
• Conducting tests and prototype manufacturing (e.g., 3D printing)
• Improvement and further development of existing products
• Process development and methodology improvements
• Technical documentation and report writing
• Support for purchasing, calculation engineers, and subcontractors

You will work in software such as Catia and 3DExperience, and also have the opportunity to participate in research and technology development projects. An exciting and developing role awaits you if you want to work at the forefront of technology!

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is driven, solution-oriented, and has a genuine passion for technology and innovation. You enjoy collaborating in teams but also have the ability to independently take responsibility and drive your tasks forward. Your accuracy and analytical skills are key to success in this role.

We believe you have:

• A university degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Experience in design, preferably within production technology, quality work, or related fields
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
