JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The assignment involves being responsible, planning, implementing, and following up on the education of students with disabilities together with the work team.

You will participate and take an active role in the work team and develop the operations together with the principal, teachers, and resources as well as the school's other staff through collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special educator/special teacher with a focus on developmental disabilities or a licensed teacher. If you also have experience working with children and youth with various disabilities and knowledge of sign language support, we consider that an advantage.

You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, clarity, context, and good relationships.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged and thinking innovatively, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You have a genuine interest in working with children/youth and the ability to see students' individual needs and conditions.

As a person, you are calm and skilled at creating good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You see opportunities, think positively, take responsibility, are flexible, and proactive. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
