Leisure Educator at Öhn's Leisure Center

Öhn's school is located in the countryside with nature at your doorstep and has access to ski trails, an ice rink, and its own school forest.

During the school year 25/26, Öhn's school will be divided into four classes: F-2, grade 3, grades 4-5, and grade 6. The operation consists of about 60 students, and it also includes Fyrens leisure center and two preschool departments: Älvtrollet and Humlan.

The school has a playground that invites creative play. Here you will find a zip line, two football fields, outdoor table tennis tables, a bandy field, and basketball hoops, as well as proximity to the forest.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

If the necessary decisions are made, we are now looking for a Leisure Educator for the Öhn Resele-Kalknäs principal area, with placement at Öhn's leisure center.

In your role as a leisure educator/leisure teacher at Öhn's leisure center, you will be responsible for creating good conditions for learning throughout the students' entire day at school and working to develop the students' abilities, both academically and socially, in accordance with the governing documents.

You will serve both in the leisure center and in the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed primary school teacher in leisure education or a licensed leisure educator, preferably in combination with subject qualifications in music, sports, English, or other subjects that may be advantageous.
• is well acquainted with the governing documents of schools and leisure centers and has the ability to implement them in practice in an enjoyable and clear way.
• is engaged and focuses on the students' development and learning.
• is attentive to the context you are in.
• has good communication skills.
• is a secure person, good at collaborating, and is a natural leader for the student group. You value good relationships and good cooperation with colleagues and guardians.
