Hellberg School is a K-6 school. The school has adapted primary education, focusing on both subjects and subject areas. We have about 250 students in grades K-6. From the autumn term of 2025, the adapted primary school from grades 1-6 will have about 30 students. We are now looking for our future recreation teachers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a recreation teacher, you will be there to support the students during their school day. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, and evaluate activities in the school's recreation program so that the teaching follows the applicable governing documents and goals of the organization. Together with the recreation center's work team, you will drive and develop the pedagogical activities for the benefit of the student at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified recreation teacher or leisure educator, or alternatively, a qualified preschool teacher with experience in recreational activities. We expect you to have basic knowledge of Office software and a very good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in inclusive learning environments that meet all students' different strengths and needs.
• Experience working with adapted primary education.
• Worked with individuals with disabilities.
• Education focused on intellectual disabilities.
• Experience with TAKK, visual support, and digital learning tools.
