Hellberg School is a municipal primary school located in the Skönsberg district, about 3 km from the city center. The school has approximately 250 students in grades F-6. From the autumn term of 2025, the adapted primary school from grades 1-6 will have about 30 students, for which we are now seeking our future special teachers.

Our ambition is to offer the best possible education and teaching for the students at Hellberg School. We who work in the adapted primary school focus heavily on students' safety and learning, meaning that each student, based on their conditions, is well prepared to meet the future with good knowledge and a continued desire to learn.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our adapted primary school is growing. This means we are hiring more special teachers. Your main task in the position will be to plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the adapted primary school's governing documents.

Together with your team, you will jointly be responsible with other teachers for planning and developing the pedagogical teaching based on the best interests of the student at the individual, group, and organizational levels according to given governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license as a primary school teacher or preschool teacher with a specialization as a special teacher for intellectual disabilities. We also see that you have basic knowledge of Office software and have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in inclusive learning environments that meet all students' different strengths and needs.
• Experience working with adapted primary school.
• Worked with individuals with disabilities.
• Education focused on intellectual disabilities.
• Experience with TAKK, visual support, and digital learning tools.

You should be able to meet students and help them develop with good relationships. Therefore, we will place great emphasis on your personal suitability. We see that you, as an applicant, have a positive view of students based on the belief that our students can, dare, and want to. As a person, you are proactive, solution-focused, structured, and action-oriented. You are a good adult role model and find it easy to collaborate and create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
