At the Hedbergska school area, approximately 1,100 students study with guidance and support from around 100 employees in various functions.

The Hedbergska school area consists of the school buildings Hedbergska, GA, and Altinska. The Sales and Service program, with about 150 students, primarily teaches at Hedbergska. We have a very close collaboration with the industry and business community, which means we can offer an interesting and future-oriented education to our students and be an important player in meeting the industry's need for labor.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching in vocational subjects, including courses in service knowledge, entrepreneurship, business economics, and responsibility for the tasks common to the profession. As a teacher in upper secondary school, it includes being a mentor for a smaller group of students, which involves responsibility for following and supporting the students' social and academic development. The position also includes natural collaboration with teachers, other staff in the school, and external contacts. External contacts with the business community are essential for the development of education and the students' workplace-based learning (APL).

• You are also expected to be an active part of developing and informing about the education.
• You use current teaching methods and approaches, integrate the latest trends in sales and service into your teaching while creating an engaging and creative learning environment.
• You develop the sales personnel of the future by teaching fundamental sales principles, marketing, and customer relations.
• You create industry contacts by establishing connections with companies and organizations to enable workplace-based learning (APL) and open doors for students' future careers.
• You also work with graphic communication and production.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who preferably has a post-secondary education in a relevant field and experience in the sales and service industry, as well as competence in digital layout and graphic communication.

You are a person who sees opportunities and is used to taking initiative. You have a solution-focused approach, are confident in your role, and have a strong interest in working with young people. We expect you to be able to work independently while enjoying collaborating with your colleagues.
