Nipanskolan

Nipanskolan is centrally located on the northern side of the Ångerman River in the Sollefteå locality. The school has about 450 students from preschool to grade 9. We have a total of about 60 employees, including all professional categories. The school has several lead teachers, and the competence of the staff is high and valued by the school management. The school is also one of Mid Sweden University's partner schools for its teacher training.

At Nipanskolan, we continuously work with joint professional development initiatives. This year's focus has been on Classroom Leadership, and one of the aims has been to develop collegial learning, a work that will continue in the coming school year.

Nipanskolan is a relatively large unit that creates several advantages, including:

  • strong subject teams with several teachers teaching the same subject.
  • a well-developed student health service with counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, special teachers, and access to a school psychologist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position primarily involves teaching the subject of art in grades 4-9. The position also includes teaching textile crafts in grade 3 and home economics in grade 6. The content of the position may vary over time, regarding the distribution of the different subjects and depending on your qualifications. The position also includes mentorship for a class in grades 7-9 together with a colleague.

With us, you work in teams with your colleagues, and in these, we discuss the teaching and assessment of the students together, how we can best support them to achieve as much as possible, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified and certified to teach the subject of art. However, depending on the current labor market situation, other competencies may also be considered.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.

OTHER
