Broskolan is beautifully located in Svedjeholmen in the southwestern part of Örnsköldsvik. The school is an independent primary school with a confessional Christian orientation, offering grades F-9, after-school care, and two preschool departments. The school has about 140 students in mixed classes. In addition to educators, the school has functions such as school administration, student health, kitchen, cleaning, and maintenance. During the spring term of 2018, Broskolan worked on developing a pedagogy aimed at improving students' physical well-being, participation, and results. This school development work will continue to be elaborated for the benefit of both students and educators concerning teaching and education. In your teaching & educational assignment as an Art Teacher at Broskolan, we want you to:

- Conduct teaching & assessment in the subject of art for grades 4-9.

- Stay updated with current research and wish to develop art education together with students and colleagues, sharing your experiences and supporting and developing everyone's teaching through a pedagogically challenging approach.

- Work to develop teaching based on scientific principles and proven experience.

- Have a versatile teaching style with a variety of teaching methods, challenges, and adaptations based on each student's prerequisites.

- Work with student influence in your teaching in such a way that students can develop and own their learning process and provide feedback to the student that moves them forward in their learning.

- Maintain a clear student focus in your teaching and assessment role.

- Create a safe and accepting climate in the classroom through clear structure.

- Build good relationships through curiosity and trust with students and colleagues.

- Have high expectations and confidence in students' abilities and provide an encouraging and supportive response.

- You should share our Christian worldview. As an art teacher at Broskolan, we want you to conduct teaching in art for grades 4-9.

Together, we work to make students' school days as good as possible now and in the future. Broskolan applies a tobacco-free working time. For work with children and youth, a criminal record extract must be presented before employment.
