Operations Analyst in Middle Office at Oberon

We are now recruiting an Operations Analyst in the Middle Office for Oberon.

If you have two to three years of professional experience from a Back/Middle Office, are a technically skilled and meticulous problem solver who thrives on responsibility and challenges, then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute to a growing team and play a key role in Oberon's continued development.

Oberon is a leading and independent Family Office in the Nordics focusing on generational wealth management and related services for entrepreneurs and UHNW families.

Your Responsibilities:

As an Operations Analyst, you will have broad responsibilities within the Middle Office and be involved in several key functions for Oberon. You will work with:

Monitoring and reconciliation of NAV
Monthly and quarterly reconciliation and performance reporting
Booking and monitoring of corporate actions
Trade matching
Support to Front Office in order placement and trade bookings
Automation and streamlining of processes
Improvement and development of internal reports
Participating in projects for Front Office and Back Office
Implementation and testing of new systems such as cash management systems, matching systems, etc.
Management of portfolio management systems

Qualifications:

Approximately 3 years of experience in a Middle Office/Operations/Trade desk support role at a bank or fund
Experience with equities or bonds
Relevant degree in economics or finance
Good understanding of valuation of financial instruments, performance calculations, and the entire lifecycle of a trade
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

Familiarity with Bloomberg, Enfusion, Python, and SQL
Experience with unlisted investments
International work experience
