At Hässleholm Hospital, approximately 300 employees work within the orthopedic area and operate at the hospitals in Hässleholm and Kristianstad. In Hässleholm, there is a small hospital with great drive, providing our patients with security when health falters. Our orthopedic department has 19 beds for planned surgeries primarily focused on hips and knees, but other surgeries such as spine, shoulder, and foot also occur. Surgeries are scheduled on weekdays. Our patients are generally healthy and have a short care process; often, patients can go home after one night with us. We take pride in our short care times and well-developed care processes, which we continuously improve.

We are also running the Future Orthopedics Hässleholm (FORTH) project, which includes a planned new construction of the entire orthopedic area. This is an exciting development of orthopedic services, with large high-tech operating rooms. This will also involve innovative development of patient processes regarding logistics, personnel, and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We have the opportunity to expand our operations with two new nursing assistants. In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will work with traditional nursing assistant tasks for a surgical department. This means you will have a care responsibility for the patient's pre- and post-operative care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care. A strong focus is placed on mobilization.

As a new employee with us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a recognized nursing assistant education with a focus on acute care/healthcare according to the previous program structure or are a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has studied all specializations. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Previous work experience in inpatient care is an advantage for the position. We consider it meritorious if you have work experience in orthopedics. With us, you will work in Melior and other administrative systems; therefore, we would like you to have this experience from previous work.
