The Care Office in Södertälje municipality works with elderly care and support for people with disabilities. To meet future challenges, we are now investing in digitalization – and this is where you come in!

As part of the welfare technology unit, you will play a key role in supporting staff with digital solutions and ensuring that together we can support our residents in the best way possible. We are looking for someone who is interested in technology, service-oriented, and wants to make a real difference.
 

Your responsibilities

In the Care Office's operations, mobile phones and tablets are used as important tools. To ensure that the operations receive the right support regarding mobile phones and tablets, we are now recruiting for a new role that will provide operational support. This means that a large part of the working hours will be spent out in our operations.

The position is new, which means that the tasks will develop over time and new related responsibilities may be added. 

In this role, your focus will be to ensure quick support, a high level of service, and that the service develops according to the needs of the operations. An important part of the work is to help the operations solve both minor problems and find long-term functioning solutions.

Your tasks will include:
- Preparing and delivering mobile phones to the operations
- Providing technical support – both remotely and on-site in the operations, including urgent mobile replacements
- Training staff and managers in the use of phones and tablets
- Following up on how the service works, identifying new needs, and communicating these to the IT unit
- Collaborating with colleagues from the unit, the IT unit, our IT service provider, and other parties to ensure a good service and find new solutions
- Working together with colleagues in the unit to maintain a good digital work environment for users

In other words, this is a broad and developable role for you who enjoys variation, technology, and collaboration and who wants to be part of digitizing the operations of the Care Office.


Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in technical support or care – preferably both. You are solution-oriented, interested in technology, and have a strong desire to help others. You are social, outgoing, and enjoy taking responsibility. Additionally, it is important that you work well both independently and in a team.

We are looking for someone who has the following competencies:
- Responsible: Takes independent responsibility for their own tasks and the common result. Comes up with solutions.
- Initiative: Takes initiative and comes up with new suggestions for work methods. Starts activities towards a desired result. Argues for and explains why the activities should be carried out.
- Cooperative: Actively listens, gives space to others' ideas, and strengthens group collaboration. Contributes to clear goals and shares their knowledge.
- Self-driven: Works without established routines or guidance. Identifies and carries out activities that lead towards the goal.
- Structured: Plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively. Builds structures that others can also work from. Sets and adheres to timelines.

Requirements:
- Valid B driver's license
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- At least a 3-year high school education with a focus on technology or care, or other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent
- Strong computer skills and a genuine interest in technology

Meritorious:
- Experience and good knowledge of welfare technology
- Documented experience from working with IT support or other technical support

The workplace is located in Grusåsen in central Södertälje.

We offer a permanent full-time position. The work is scheduled during office hours on weekdays, with exceptions for special events at most a few times a year.
