Job Description:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT specialist in IT monitoring with a focus on observability, to join the team responsible for managing the central IT monitoring platforms that support other IT administrations and development projects. Among the client's IT monitoring platforms are Observatorium.io (thanos, grafana, loki). The tasks are of a more coordinating and planned nature as well as more practical and operational tasks that take place hands-on in the client's platforms and systems.

The tasks include, among others:

• Further development of the central observability and monitoring platforms.
• Manage incidents and problems - analyze and resolve issues and incidents and assist in the development of instructions for incident management, for example. This in close collaboration with the 24/7 system monitoring function within the same unit.
• Act as a specialist and be the primary contact for system-specific questions.
• Provide support and assistance to other systems, the business, and external parties.
• Handle orders according to applicable processes and implement changes in the systems in accordance with the client's change process. Maintain and carry out necessary upgrades.
• Work with the team to ensure good management documentation and specify the technical requirements for the solutions.
• Address IT security issues to ensure high availability, quality, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of work experience in developing IT monitoring systems.
• At least 1 year of work experience configuring with Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and Loki.
• At least 1 year of work experience managing and developing applications on OpenShift or another Kubernetes.
• At least 1 year of work experience in GitOps-based workflows: Argo CD or Flux.
• At least 1 year of work experience in an IT environment with high security and quality requirements.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Helm.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of work experience with agile methodologies.
• At least 1 year of work experience in installation and configuration of KeyCloak and ADFS.
• At least 1 year of work experience in installing and configuring with Tempo and Observatorium API.
• At least 1 year of work experience with APM (Application Performance Management) products.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Open-telemetry (e.g., Mimir or Grafana Enterprise).
