About us

Within the orthopedic field, we work to treat, care for, and rehabilitate patients with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Our highly specialized mission is unique and encompasses two specialties: advanced orthopedic spine and tumor surgery. We perform both emergency and planned surgeries and treatments, and our patients come from all over Sweden. Our operations are characterized by commitment and development.

Your responsibilities

As an operations coordinator in area 3, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning surgeries for the department's spine and tumor patients. You will collaborate with the teams’ doctors, staff at AnOpIVA (Anesthesia/Surgery/Intensive Care), wards 15/28, the Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic at Sahlgrenska, and the operations coordinators at Mölndal Hospital. The work involves significant personal responsibility with both teamwork and independent work. Telephone contact with patients and work in Vårdguiden 1177 is an important and large part of the job.

The operations coordinator plans in the admission clinic, and some work with admissions for elective surgery may be included in the position.

Could you be our new colleague?

You should have experience in orthopedic surgical nursing, as a surgical nurse or similar competence. Experience working as an operations coordinator is an advantage for the position.

We are looking for someone who is skilled and enjoys logistics and planning, and it is advantageous if you have experience with surgical planning in the Orbit system. It is important that you have good knowledge of various IT systems and are computer literate.

The work requires prioritization and organizational skills, as well as a professional attitude towards colleagues and patients. You communicate easily and have a good ability to work and collaborate in teams, and you also enjoy working independently. You are structured, flexible, and take initiative in your work. As a coordinator with us, you have a broad area of responsibility, and this position is for you who enjoy coordinating, staying one step ahead, and keeping the patient’s best interests in focus!
