About us

Welcome to When Health Kärra Health Center and BVC! We are located in Norra Hisingen, 12 km from Gothenburg Central Station, 13 km from Kungälv's travel center, and 7 km from Angered center.

We are a well-functioning health center with approximately 9,600 listed patients, stable staffing, and good finances. The health center is located near Kärra center, next to beautiful nature and within walking distance from the commuter station with the possibility of free parking.

With us work specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries. The health center has well-developed specialist nurse clinics in diabetes, asthma/COPD, medical consultations, child health care, and laboratory. We are also responsible for nursing homes and LSS operations. We have the opportunity to offer our patients to meet a health coach for support in behavior change and guidance towards healthy living habits. We collaborate extensively with Kungälv Hospital.

Together with team leaders and management, we are 26 employees who enjoy working together, have a friendly and helpful work climate with great commitment and joy at work. About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of responsibilities and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital health meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About you

You are a licensed physician and have specialized training in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish health care. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in your work.
