Are you a student looking for an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in purchasing? We are now looking for an LIA intern for our purchasing unit at Stockholm Water and Waste!

RESPONSIBILITIES

The purchasing unit consists of about 24 people and includes procurement officers, buyers, contract managers, and administrative staff. During your internship, you will have a unique opportunity to learn about strategic procurement, operational purchasing, and contract follow-up. You will apply your theoretical knowledge in practice. You will also gain insight into the entire purchasing process, including advertised procurements, contract management, administration, and category management.

We offer a work environment with both broad and deep purchasing expertise, and we are confident that you will gain valuable experience and develop in the field. Here, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues who support and guide you during your internship.

The internship starts in the fall, and you will be placed at our headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma.

During the internship, you will help with

• Managing incoming purchasing cases via our case management system
• Participating in strategic procurements
• Drafting directly procured contracts
• Providing advice and service to operations with their purchases
• Conducting orders through renewed competition in accordance with LOU/LUF
• Analyzing purchasing patterns and compiling and coordinating purchases between different departments

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you are driven and curious, with a strong interest in purchasing and procurement. You are someone who enjoys learning new things and applying your knowledge in practice. It is important for us that you can work both independently and collaboratively, and that you thrive in a dynamic work environment where cooperation and accountability are highly valued. We believe you have a desire to contribute to our team while developing professionally.

You who are applying for an internship with us:

• Are studying purchasing at a vocational school and will be doing your second internship period (LIA 2) this fall.
• Have basic knowledge of purchasing processes and procurement
• Have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have the ability to work structured and independently
• Education in public procurement is an advantage
