Sales Representative for the Public Sector

As a sales representative for the public sector, you will be at the forefront of growing our business within municipalities and government agencies. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, navigating procurement processes, and building strong relationships to accelerate the adoption of sustainable solutions. If you enjoy sales, understand public procurement, and want to make a difference, this role is for you.

Main Responsibilities

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in public procurement and B2G sales - preferably in a commercial role focusing on municipalities or government agencies.
  • Close direct contracts with municipalities below the procurement threshold.
  • Background in selling physical products - preferably in sustainability, packaging, or related industries.
  • Understanding of public procurement laws (LOU, innovation procurement, feasibility studies).
  • Strong relationship-building skills - you enjoy networking and engaging with decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills - both in Swedish and English.
  • Structured and self-driven - you take initiative and thrive in an independent role.
  • Courage and adaptability - you are comfortable in a fast-paced startup, solving problems on the fly and wearing multiple hats as needed. You tackle new challenges with enthusiasm.

  • Are goal-oriented and enjoy closing deals.
  • Work proactively and find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Have experience navigating municipal budgets, procurement cycles, and procurement tools.
  • Enjoy rolling up your sleeves and making things happen in a high-energy, fast-growth environment.
