Unit's Mission

The Globen Stockholm unit consists of about 160 employees working within the unit divided into several task sections. We are looking for several employment officers for the enhanced collaboration with the Social Insurance Agency.

The enhanced collaboration between the Employment Agency and the Social Insurance Agency aims to increase the individual's ability to develop or regain their work capacity and thus be able to return to or obtain a job.

The Employment Agency and the Social Insurance Agency collaborate and provide the support that each authority can offer, which means jointly investigating the need for and implementing measures that shorten the time in sick insurance and ensure that those who are on sick leave or receiving activity compensation develop or regain their work capacity and can thus return to or obtain employment.

The need for interventions should be identified and met as early as possible for those who require active rehabilitation measures. Through collaboration, the authorities should contribute to a low and stable sick leave over time.

Job Description

The Employment Agency and the Social Insurance Agency are key players in supporting individuals with reduced work capacity to return to the labor market. We work in collaboration with the Social Insurance Agency with individuals in the rehabilitation chain. The work we offer is stimulating, varied, and developmental with many contacts inside and outside our own organization.

You will participate in joint assessments for both employees and unemployed individuals on sick leave and have a cohesive responsibility for the processing process by initiating, coordinating, and following up all planned measures for job seekers receiving preparatory work measures and work-oriented rehabilitation.

You will plan activities that develop and/or assess the work capacity of individuals either individually or together with specialists and partners. An important part of the job is to maintain employer contacts, primarily based on the individual's needs to find trial placements and adapted jobs within the framework of work-oriented rehabilitation.

Our Offer

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The place of employment is Globen Stockholm.

Basic Requirements for the Position

• A university degree of at least 180 credits/120 points, or you are/have been employed as an employment officer at the Employment Agency and are assessed to have good conditions to meet today's requirements for employment officers
• At least two years of combined work experience of at least 50 percent
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension

Other Qualifications for the Position

• Experience in public authority exercise in the last two years
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Experience in work-oriented rehabilitation in recent years
• Experience and knowledge of collaboration with other actors such as authorities, municipalities, complementary actors, employers, and healthcare institutions.
