In Tornby, we operate one of our three second-hand stores, along with our production and warehouse.

We receive clothes and items from municipalities, companies, and individuals from all over Östergötland. Through careful sorting and seasonal storage, we offer our customers the opportunity to consume sustainably. But our business is more than just a store – it is a place where sustainability and social responsibility meet. When you shop with us, you contribute to creating opportunities for people to grow. Working as a Store Manager

As a store manager, you have broad leadership responsibilities for your employees, volunteers, and participants. At the same time, you work operationally as a store employee and strive to inspire our customers to purchase and create a positive and rewarding customer experience. You collaborate with other store managers to develop logistics and store concepts. You will, among other things:

• Drive and develop the store based on established concepts.
• Ensure a high level of sorting that makes the store in Tornby attractive to customers.
• Ensure logistics of goods from Tornby to our other stores based on our store concept.
• Structure store operations, the flow of goods to the store, and ensure the visual expression in the store in a professional manner.
• Be responsible for sales and follow up on the budget to achieve set sales targets.
• Maintain good inventory management that keeps us relevant throughout the year.
• Lead and allocate daily work for employees, participants, and volunteers, and work for a safe and pleasant work environment.
• Be responsible for the store's social media accounts where products are showcased attractively.

Within our social enterprises, we work with labor integration, which means that you will work operationally with your team and coach participants who are far from the labor market, by conveying professional knowledge in a pedagogical way.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a natural leader who can inspire and motivate your team. You have the ability to create a positive work environment and get everyone to work towards common goals. As a person, you are outgoing, communicative, and relationship-building with a good ability to collaborate with others. Being service-minded and actively working on the customer experience in the store is a given for you. You are a curious and solution-oriented person with the ability to see opportunities instead of obstacles and can “pitch in” where needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in a managerial position
• Worked in a store selling clothes and/or home decor and has a good understanding of the various parameters that create success and increased sales
• Experience leading employees towards set goals
• Education or experience working with the visual expression in stores and a good sense of trends
• Good ability to structure and follow processes
• Good knowledge in trade, sales, economics, and leadership

It is an advantage if you have:

• Store manager experience in second-hand
• Knowledge and experience in labor integration and labor market issues
• Good administrative skills
• Experience creating content in both text and image for social media

The position is permanent at 100%, with a probationary period applied.

Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.

A posted position may be preceded by a six-month probationary period if necessary.
