Care Assistant Wanted for Västervården and Råcksta Vällingby Primary Care Clinic

Västervården Husläkarmottagning and Råcksta Vällingby Närvårdsmottagning are looking for a care assistant for our joint home healthcare, Praktikertjänst Hemsjukvård Vällingby, as one of our care assistants is on parental leave.

The temporary position runs from April 2025 until the end of the year.

Are you looking for a challenge and curious about an exciting assignment as a care assistant? Then you are the one we are looking for. As a care assistant with us, you will be part of one of our home healthcare teams and work with our most vulnerable elderly patients. You will work independently as a care assistant (with delegations) and have a team of other care assistants and a nurse to collaborate with regarding your patients.

We are a close-knit team that together takes care of our approximately 300 registered patients. We work in smaller groups where the nurse/assistant distributes the day's tasks. We visit our patients by foot, bike, and car.

Our clinics are located in fresh premises centrally in Vällingby, very close to bus and train (only 25 minutes from T-Centralen). We have about 9,000 and 12,000 registered patients, and together around 300 home healthcare patients.

Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant, you will perform standard care assistant tasks and play an important role in our joint home healthcare. We work with training and delegations on tasks as we see that you master the various aspects. On a daily basis, we collaborate in the staff group and solve the planning for daily tasks together.

Qualifications

You are a care assistant with experience in home healthcare. You are familiar with record-keeping and have a good command of the Swedish language. Previous experience with the journal system Take Care is an advantage. You need to have a B driver's license.

You are helpful, engaged, supportive, and passionate about doing a good job for your patients. You are a team player and have a good ability to collaborate with other staff. Full-time, part-time can be discussed but at least 80% working hours. Working hours are weekdays from 7:30 AM.
