About the position

We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to help develop the field of pediatric ophthalmology. The work includes outpatient care at the pediatric eye clinic, and our assignments also include strabismus surgery, ROP screening, and contact lens services for small children. The position includes teaching and training, and there is an opportunity to combine clinical service with research. You will also be part of S:t Erik's overall emergency preparedness activities.

Qualifications

You are a specialist physician in ophthalmology with a particular interest in pediatric ophthalmology. Previous experience in pediatric eye care and strabismus, as well as good pedagogical skills and research experience, are meritorious.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is curious and wants to try new ways of working, bringing new ideas and wanting to introduce new knowledge into the organization. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment. A six-month probationary period may be applicable. Start date according to agreement.
