About us:

The Farsta Youth Clinic is operated in collaboration between the Farsta district and the Stockholm County Health Care Area (SLSO), which is responsible for the medical part of the operations. Our overarching mission is to promote sexual and reproductive health and to prevent and detect mental health issues and social problems among young people aged 12-23. We work health-promoting from a holistic perspective.

At the Farsta Youth Clinic, midwives, social workers, and doctors work together. We primarily conduct individual visits. A large and important part of the work is also to carry out outreach activities. Schools in the area come for study visits to the clinic. The clinic also visits youth centers and schools.

About the position:

As a midwife with us, your work will include contraceptive counseling, including insertion/removal of IUDs and implants, STI testing and treatment, contact tracing, and examinations. You will also have conversations with young people about lifestyle, identity, relationships, and sexuality based on the young person's life situation and needs. The position includes planned visits, drop-in visits, and participation in our outreach work. Another important part of the job is to have close collaboration with colleagues and take responsibility for the clinic as a whole.

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in working with young people and young adults. You need to have a good ability to work independently but also the ability to collaborate with your colleagues. We would like you to have experience in contraceptive counseling and working with norm awareness. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment form:

Permanent employment, part-time with a working degree of 75%. A probationary period may apply. Working hours Monday to Friday. Start as soon as possible or by agreement.
