Job Description

The work as a contact nurse in the breast section is an independent role where you are responsible for following up with your patients. This allows you to follow a person for several years. The work is largely administrative and includes phone contact with patients calling in during phone hours, managing cases via 1177 and my care plan, handling patient lists, participating in MDK, section meetings, and more. Close collaboration with doctors and paramedics is required. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.

Work Group

The general reception consists of 10 nurses/specialist nurses who all work as contact nurses and 1 nursing assistant. In the breast section, there are 4 contact nurses.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous to have experience as a contact nurse and/or have worked in cancer care.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are empathetic, self-driven, and have a structured way of working. You work independently, are confident, stable, and take responsibility for your tasks. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your work and maintain your composure in stressful situations. You easily adapt to changing circumstances, can quickly change your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in changes. You are attentive and have good collaboration skills as the job involves many contact points. You contribute to a pleasant workplace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
