Cardiology Nurse for Arrhythmia Lab
The Cardiology Clinic at the University Hospital in Linköping is part of the Heart Center (HC).
We provide health and medical care in the field of heart diseases for adults of all ages and offer highly specialized care to Jönköping, Kalmar, and Östergötland, as well as national specialty care. We have a large cardiology operation consisting of several units: Heart Intensive Care Unit (HIA), acute care cardiology unit (Ward C117), pre- and post-operative unit (ÖVA and Ward C118), the catheterization unit, and outpatient clinic. We care for acute patients from the emergency department and other hospitals in the region.

The currently advertised position involves work within our arrhythmia lab, including both ablation and pacemaker operations. The introduction to the interventional operations is about 6 months if you lack prior experience in the field.

Job Description
The arrhythmia lab consists of three intervention rooms, one pacemaker lab, and two ablation labs. As a nurse, you will perform all tasks within the operation such as patient care, electrophysiological stimulations, diagnostics, sterile assisting, perioperative measurements, and programming of pacemaker devices.
To ensure competence and experience exchange, we work with rotation between our different operations, outpatient and inpatient care; how that rotation will look for you will be agreed upon together.

Work Group
The work group consists of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors who all work in interdisciplinary teams around the patient. Within the group, there is good collaboration and cohesion. About You
We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in cardiology is meritorious. As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. As a person, you are secure and stable, have an easy time adapting and adjusting to different situations. You enjoy being part of an interdisciplinary team with the patient in focus, where all professional categories learn from each other. Furthermore, you have a good empathetic ability, are meticulous, and care about working with quality in a goal-oriented manner.
