Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

As a substitute in our team, you, like us, are passionate about working with people. You are engaged and flexible, and care about doing the best possible in our assistance.

Working as an assistant places high demands on a professional approach since your workplace is in someone's home. You will mostly work alone but never by yourself as you are always together with the person you are assisting.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• Has a genuine commitment to working with and for people.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish.
• Has experience in personal care and using mobility aids.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

• Summer substitute in the same assistance.
• Assistants to our staffing pool (work in several different assistances).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date

Possible date or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
