We are looking for a cheerful and social assistant for a 30-year-old girl in Linköping. She enjoys having activities during the day, such as going out for coffee, watching movies, attending theater, concerts, shopping, participating in leisure activities, taking short or long walks, and visiting family.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with personal hygiene and daily routines such as dressing and undressing, toilet visits, showering, feeding, mobility assistance, and more.

Manage a home with everyday tasks, such as shopping/cooking, washing dishes, laundry, cleaning, and more.

Support a meaningful leisure time and participate in activities.

Qualifications:

Good communication skills and patience, as the client has difficulties with communication. Experience with communication boards, Bliss symbols, and eye tracking is a plus.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage.

Ability to understand and adapt to the client's needs and wishes.

Personal qualities:

Considerate and responsible.

Enjoy being active and have a drive in your work.

You are positive and have a sense of humor.

Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.

Flexible and adaptable in a varied work environment.

We prefer non-smokers, as the work is close to the client. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is important for communication and documentation. You should have a good physical condition as the work can sometimes be physically demanding.

You should be able to work night shifts (includes some on-call duties), and it is good if you can be flexible with working hours occasionally, for example, during activities, your colleagues' leave, and absence, etc.
