Forssaängskolan is a F-6 school located in the Forssa district of Borlänge. The school currently has about 350 students in preschool and primary school, as well as a well-functioning after-school program with several departments. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an engaged social pedagogue for our school!

You will be an important part of the school's work to create a safe environment for all our students. You will work on behalf of the EHT with a focus on the student's entire school day. You will be present during the school day as well as in the after-school program. You will lead recess activities, work with different groups and projects focusing on preventive measures to help our students develop both academically and socially. During school holidays, you will be part of our after-school activities, which may involve opening and closing the after-school program.

At our school, the most important student health work takes place in the classroom and close to the students!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained social pedagogue or has an education that the employer deems equivalent. It is a requirement that you can easily express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in schools and have good knowledge of NPF.

As a person, you are structured and clear, and you have a well-developed communicative ability. You lead and organize your work with creativity, clarity, and good communication. You work preventively to create a safe and clear learning environment with high, clear, and positive expectations for our students. You have a strong student focus and easily build relationships with others in general and with children and adolescents in particular. For us, it is important that you have a deep understanding of students' differences in both learning and behavior. Based on this understanding, you meet students with good structure, clarity, warmth, humor, and high positive expectations. You work solution-focused even in pressured situations, always maintain the student perspective, and highlight the student's voice. You are interested in school development and are motivated to work with follow-up and evaluation together with colleagues.
