On behalf of a client, we are now looking for a senior Java backend developer. Our client is a fast-growing technology and design consulting company. The company adds business value through digital innovations for a better end-user experience. The headquarters is located in Gothenburg, with additional offices in Stockholm and Lisbon. The company was founded in 2017 and has around 80 employees.

You will work hybrid, both from home and at a nice office in central Stockholm.

You will enter a fast-growing, unpretentious, and supportive work environment. You will work on new development projects where there is room for creativity and personal development. Your tasks will be varied and stimulating, focusing on backend development in Java.

Requirements:

- At least 5 years of experience in backend development

- Strong knowledge of Java

- Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools

- Understanding of version control with GIT and experience working according to agile development methods

- Relevant university degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience

- Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

- Strong knowledge of Python

- Knowledge of Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar document databases is desirable.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly meritorious

You will be employed by our client. Full-time. Probationary employment that transitions into a permanent position after six months. Start date: immediate.
