P 18 is being re-established in Gotland and we are in constant growth. This means that we now have and over time will be provided with infrastructure, materials, and military equipment with high demands for technical availability. This requires technical understanding and the ability to plan and educate so that the costs of maintaining the equipment remain low.

About the unit

The Logistics Unit leads planning, implementation, and follow-up of logistics and support activities within the Gotland garrison area to support the units and visiting units in Gotland. Furthermore, the Logistics Unit leads the implementation and follow-up of local operational management of material maintenance for material in use and storage within the garrison.

Main tasks

Common tasks include:

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the garrison's washing and rinsing facilities
• Conduct training, in connection with maintenance, on the equipment of the maintenance facilities to maintain a high technical availability of the facilities.
• Support the unit in connection with maintenance.
• Develop and be responsible for the garrison's washing and rinsing facilities.
• Support with corrective maintenance to a lesser extent on all wheeled vehicles within the garrison.

Qualifications

• Trained operations technician with many years of experience or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Driving license category B
• Good computer skills

Meritorious

• Experience with REVATEC, recycling systems, central vacuum cleaners, etc.
• Driving license category C, CE
• Experience working in FM systems, SAP environment (PRIO), and LIFT
