Site Manager for Rock and Tunnel Construction

Join us in building a sustainable future - a family-oriented company with international presence. Implenia Sweden is now seeking an experienced Site Manager for rock and tunnel construction for the Vasastan project, which is part of the West Link in Gothenburg.

The Vasastan project is part of the West Link's Haga section, which includes Haga Station, with tunneling for a large station area spanning over 50 meters, and includes track tunnels, parallel rescue and service tunnels, as well as ventilation and smoke tunnels. The contract encompasses extensive and complex structures and is technically complicated in several respects.

Your Future Role

As a Site Manager, you will lead and coordinate the work on-site, ensuring that all work tasks are carried out efficiently and according to plan. You will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, and work teams to achieve the set goals. As a site manager, your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning daily and long-term production work
• Leading the work team and coordinating tasks on-site.
• Ensuring that work is conducted within established requirements for work environment, environment, quality, progress, and productivity
• Coordinating suppliers and other project partners
• Ensuring that work is documented through drilling logs, bolt logs, and injection logs
• Communicating with clients and other contractors to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Ensuring the ordering and delivery of materials for production
• Participating in safety rounds
• Managing the diary

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone with experience in larger infrastructure projects and several years of experience in a supervisory role within rock and tunnel construction. Since the project involves extensive and complex structures and is technically complicated in several respects, it is required that you have a broad competence in the field and feel confident in the role of site manager. You are accustomed to reading construction and contract documents and handling various administrative tasks. We see that you enjoy leading others and achieving results.

We expect that you..

• have 5 to 10 years of experience as a site manager in rock and tunnel construction.
• have previously worked on large and complex infrastructure projects.
• have experience leading larger shifts and coordinating various tasks.
• have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
• hold a valid driving license (B).
• are a team player who is both self-driven and stress-resistant.
• are structured and solution-oriented.
• have good computer skills.
