The project is a prioritized investment at the national level, making it one of the most extensive community projects right now.
About the company SSEA is a nationwide construction contractor with expertise in partnering/collaboration. The portfolio includes everything from complex hospitals, tall wooden buildings, schools to smaller renovations and reconstructions. SSEA, together with Hemsö and the Police Authority, is responsible for building a new modern police house in Borlänge.

Job responsibilities As Block Manager for the interior, you are responsible for the economy and production of the entire interior from the time the building is sealed until completion and handover. You ensure that all work is performed according to schedule and that technical and aesthetic requirements are met. The role also involves leading the team and coordinating work with subcontractors. More specifically, the position entails;
- Leading work with drywall contracts, plastering, painting, and installation of fixed furnishings, etc.
- Ensuring that workplace and safety regulations are followed on-site.
- Being responsible for the economy and ensuring that the project stays within budget and timelines.
- Working closely with colleagues to solve any problems that arise.
SSEA prefers that the right person lives either in or around Borlänge (Southern Dalarna) or is based in Stockholm where SSEA has its headquarters.
We are looking for someone who
- Has an academic, technical university degree in construction engineering, civil engineering, or similar.
- Has at least five years of experience as a site manager or block manager.
- Has experience leading interior contracting work in large building projects (250 MSEK and above).
- Is accustomed to taking financial responsibility and following up project budgets.
- Is structured and solution-oriented.
- Has a good ability to lead teams and coordinate work with subcontractors.
It is highly meritorious if you have experience working in collaborative projects or have relevant education in collaboration. Due to the project's security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
