RESPONSIBILITIES

The Machine Specialist position is part of the Technical Division and the Machine Maintenance business area, which operates throughout Sweden. To succeed in this, Infranord has a large fleet of various rail vehicles and technical equipment for construction, track adjustment, snow removal, catenary maintenance, track maintenance, transportation, etc., where the maintenance of the machines largely takes place at Infranord's own maintenance workshops located across the country.

As a Machine Specialist at Infranord, you will support machine management positions in matters related to technology, regulations, maintenance, system support, and risk analyses throughout all stages of a rail vehicle's lifecycle (acquisition, ongoing management, and disposal).

The focus of the position is to develop documentation, routines, and processes for the maintenance of rail vehicles and to support machine management functions in this work. The responsibilities include collaboration with authorities, industry organizations, suppliers, and external holders of rail machines on issues related to technology and maintenance.

You are expected to adhere to good business ethics in meetings with customers and to be a good role model who contributes to a positive work environment where everyone is respected for who they are.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university or college degree in engineering or production and several years of experience in the railway or contracting industry, or other documented experience that Infranord assesses as equivalent. You have documented experience working with maintenance and technical issues. Experience with maintenance optimization on rail vehicles is an advantage. Furthermore, you have knowledge of laws and regulations within railway operations and good project management skills.

As a person, you are meticulous and analytical with a high sense of service and good communication and collaboration skills. You also have a personal drive characterized by a good mood, and where others see problems, you see opportunities. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and very good IT skills.

You also have experience in planning, executing, and following up and ensuring delivery according to set goals and timelines.
