The commissioning unit for disability and social psychiatry consists of 40 employees and we are organized into three different specialized groups: social psychiatry, disability for children and youth, and disability for adults.
The unit is staffed with three unit managers, 30 case officers, 2 administrative case officers, 4 administrative assistants, and one outreach worker.

Your role
As a social worker, you have the opportunity to work with the individual at the center. Your work as a case officer in disability is significant and multifaceted.
You will work with adults who need support measures in their daily lives. With the individual's needs at the center, the case officer investigates the need for measures according to SoL and follows up on decided measures. The work includes meeting the applicant and their relatives, as well as collaborating with other actors. The work also includes participating in development work within the unit. The investigation work is carried out with the support of the investigation and follow-up system DUR. You will conduct investigations that are legally secure, and it also includes writing statements based on legal practice. Invoice management is part of the tasks.
Your competence and experience
For this position, you are required to have:
- A degree in social work or another education deemed equivalent.
- Experience in needs assessment
- Very good computer skills
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken.
It is meritorious if you have:
- Experience of Stockholm City - Paraplyet and DUR
- Knowledge in MI, motivational interviewing

We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.
To work for the City of Stockholm with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes, you must provide an extract from the criminal record register. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
