Craft Teacher Wanted in Älmhult Municipality

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable craft teacher who wants to help shape the creative and independent individuals of the future. You will teach students in grades 2-6 in crafts. Depending on your expertise in wood and/or textile crafts, we can design a position that fits your qualifications. The design of the position may involve working at both schools in, for example, only textile or wood crafts, or at one of the schools where you will cover both areas depending on your education and competence. In your application, please specify your qualifications and desired craft area.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting craft lessons, where you are well-versed in LGR 22.
• Inspiring and motivating students to develop their practical skills and creative thinking.
• Assessing and documenting students' progress and development.
• Collaborating with colleagues and participating in school team meetings and joint development work.
• Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching certification with qualifications to teach crafts.

Experience in teaching at the elementary school level is an advantage.

Good knowledge of pedagogy and didactics.

Ability to create engagement and interest among students.

Good collaboration skills and flexibility.
