JHB – Johan i Hallen & Bergfalk AB is the specialist offering a carefully selected range of meat, fish, and delicacies to restaurants and stores. We are driven by developing products and flavors, often in close collaboration with some of our approximately 5,000 customers. Our parent company is METRO, located in Germany, and JHB is represented in several locations in Sweden and Finland, has about 450 employees, and generates approximately 2.5 billion SEK. About the role We are expanding our team and are now looking for another colleague! The position is based at our headquarters in Partille, and you will report to the Head of Controlling. As a Controller with us, you will be a business partner to our sales and logistics organization, acting as a strategic financial advisor to business leaders and supporting the organization in making well-informed financial decisions. The role focuses on providing financial insights as well as ensuring cost management and effective performance improvements. You will collaborate with various departments, which means you have the ability to build strong relationships and have many points of contact where you ensure that financial goals align with the company's overall objectives. Responsibilities:
• Performance monitoring and reporting: Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, variance analyses, and KPIs.
• Support for the business unit: Advisor to department heads by providing financial insights, risk assessments, and support in decision-making processes.
• Forecasting and scenario analysis: Use financial models to predict future trends, analyze various business scenarios, and support strategic decision-making.
• Analysis and groundwork: Re-evaluate, rework, and build analyses from scratch.
• Ad hoc analyses: Support management with ad hoc financial analyses and projects that drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
About you: To succeed in the role, strategic thinking and the ability to analyze financial data are required. Strong communication skills are crucial for conveying complex data to individuals without a financial background.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment is important, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
Accuracy in reporting, strong organizational skills, and time management are essential to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality work. Last but not least, you are an outgoing, positive person who takes initiative and loves to contribute energy to the team.
Qualifications:
- Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Experience from industries such as retail/wholesale (FMCG), with a good understanding of industry-specific financial dynamics.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, as well as strong skills in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
