Your new job

As a personal assistant, you will work closely with the citizen and help her live as independently and valuably as possible. Your work is guided by the citizen's implementation plan. The work mainly takes place at home, with some exceptions for errands. You will be available to the citizen throughout the work shift, but often perform shorter tasks. We are looking for someone who is experienced and feels comfortable performing care and support work independently, as you will be working alone with the citizen. Another important part of the job is care documentation, so you need to be able to work with both a computer and a mobile phone.

The work team

The work team consists of four personal assistants. You will meet your colleagues every four weeks for a workplace meeting. The working hours are varied, and you need to be able to work days and evenings. Your employment rate is full-time, but there is an option for a lower employment rate.

Common tasks

• Provide personal care and support in everyday life
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and meals
• Assist with medication, habilitative, and health-related tasks
• Be a companion for errands outside the home

Your qualifications

Requirements

• Previous experience as a personal assistant or in care and support work
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Care education
• Experience in digital documentation

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone who is professional and has a positive outlook in professional contexts. Since the position mainly involves independent work, you need to be a stable person who takes responsibility for your tasks. Your work is also guided by an implementation plan that describes how the citizen wishes to have their services performed to meet their needs. Therefore, you need to be able to understand and be responsive to the citizen's perspective and situation and act in accordance with what has been agreed upon. If you encounter obstacles in your work, you find solutions and continue to work to meet the citizen's needs. For the citizen to feel safe, it is important that you perform tasks in a safe and predictable manner. This requires clear communication and ensuring that there is mutual understanding between you and the citizen.

The recruitment process

Interviews may occur on an ongoing basis. We ask that you attach your CV and cover letter to your application. You do not need to send grades/certificates at this stage; we will ask for them if it becomes relevant for an interview.
