Intelligence Officer at FMLOG Staff
As an intelligence officer at FMLOG Staff, you will play a central role in identifying, analyzing, and managing security threats related to the Swedish Armed Forces' logistics service. You will work within the security intelligence service to support and develop security efforts to maintain a high level of operational security. The role involves both strategic and operational work where your expertise will be crucial in protecting the organization and its personnel.
About the Department:
The Intelligence and Security Department (FMLOG J2) is part of FMLOG Staff and provides direct support to C FMLOG and FMLOG's unit leaderships. FMLOG J2 operates within the framework of military security service, focusing on security intelligence and security protection services. The main part of the operations consists of planning, leading, and supporting logistics operations as well as processing and sharing information with unit leadership and subordinate units.
FMLOG J2 is now strengthening the organization within operational security service and is staffing an additional security officer position. We are looking for a specialist officer with the ability and commitment to plan, lead, and develop themselves and others within operational security intelligence service.
Main Responsibilities:
The position includes interesting and varied tasks at a higher management level with opportunities for both general and function-specific professional development. The area of responsibility includes, among other things, that you:
- Plan, lead, and participate in security operations within the framework of the logistics service in the Armed Forces.
- Plan, lead, and participate in security intelligence service.
- Plan, lead, and participate in security protection service through reconnaissance and security protection planning.
- Be responsible for leading and participating in security investigations.
Qualifications:
- Specialist Officer (SO) 6-7
- Driving license B
- Education in military intelligence and security service
Meritorious:
- Service in intelligence and security units
- Service in tactical or operational staff
- Experience in military intelligence and security service
- Experience in working with security protection planning in the Armed Forces
- Good ability to handle the Armed Forces' information systems intended for managing security classified information, e.g., ISUS and SWECCIS
- Education/experience in investigation
- Education/experience in collaboration
- Training in conversation methodology
- Trained interviewer, conversation leader, or interrogator
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written)
- Military driver's license
Personal Qualities:
To succeed in this role, you need to have social skills and be able to work independently, critically, and proactively. You can quickly adapt to new tasks and have a well-developed ability to collaborate as well as a high security awareness. Furthermore, you have a high level of integrity.
Interaction and collaboration with others is an important part of the operations, which is why we seek individuals with good self-awareness. As a person, you are meticulous and structured. Resilience and the ability to handle changing situations are desirable qualities.

During the recruitment process, selection tests may be conducted, including interviews and possible knowledge and ability tests, e.g., FM FYSS.
- Start date: By agreement.
- Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
