Have you completed basic training and want to serve as a soldier in the Infantry? Now you have the opportunity.
The Brigade:
The Brigade is the army's most recently re-established brigade and is currently undergoing significant growth. The main task of the Brigade is the defense of Stockholm and it specializes in infantry combat in both urban and covered terrain. In the long run, the Brigade will consist of three motorized infantry battalions and several functional units.
The Battalion:
1. The motorized infantry battalion that is part of the 1st Infantry Brigade is a task force specialized in infantry combat in urban environments. The proximity to Stockholm and the unique urban environment shape the focus of the unit's training. The battalion has a high operational readiness and continuously handles live tasks both nationally and internationally. The battalion is staffed by both permanently employed soldiers and temporarily employed soldiers.
The Company:
11. The rifle company gathers the battalion's permanently employed soldiers (GSS/K). The rifle company consists of three rifle platoons and a headquarters and support platoon. What characterizes everyday life in the company is the constant variation of readiness, live tasks, as well as development and training. The main duty is foot combat, which at times imposes a significant physical burden on the individual soldier and requires good physical fitness from all soldiers in the company. The company's vehicle system consists of the armored all-terrain vehicle 360, where significant responsibility and good spatial awareness are required to serve as a crew member. A position with us will require being on standby.
The unit's tasks mean that we place high demands on ourselves and our surroundings. Do you want to be part of a cutting-edge unit where you can develop and work with like-minded individuals towards common goals? Apply to the 11th Rifle Company!
