Logistics Officer at the Swedish Armed Forces
Do you want to help develop the logistics of the Swedish Armed Forces? As a logistics officer at FMLOG, you will play a central role in planning, following up, and improving the logistics support within the organization. You will work in a dynamic environment where collaboration, analysis, and operational focus are crucial to ensure that the right resources reach the right place at the right time. We are now looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for driving our logistics processes forward and contributing to strengthening Sweden's defense capability.
About the Unit:
The Technical and Operational Support Division (TVA) is part of the staff at FMLOG and operates in modern facilities at Gärdet in Stockholm. The division consists of three sections:
- Technical and Maintenance
- Infrastructure
- Operational Security
The sections are responsible for technical services, material and supply management, command systems, infrastructure, operational security, as well as environmental and quality issues. As a logistics officer, you will become an important part of the Technical and Maintenance section.
Main Responsibilities:
As a logistics officer, you are a central part of FMLOG's logistics operations. You will drive daily functional management with a focus on ensuring needs assessment, inventory, and follow-up of supply management within the organization. The role involves a wide range of tasks that span both planning and execution, including:
- Processing and preparing logistics support within FMLOG at all readiness levels, focusing on ensuring functionality from strategic planning to operational execution.
- Updating and analyzing the logistics situation, including contributing with expertise to ensure accurate data and effective decision support.
- Planning and developing logistics processes, with responsibility for follow-up, analysis, and evaluation within your functional area.
- Supporting processes for material and supply distribution (MFO, AFO, and LFO) and being responsible for inventory and reporting within the organization.
- Working in command support systems, where you will be responsible for driving follow-up and order in systems such as LIFT and PRIO.
- Establishing order tools and plans related to defense planning and support for military operations.
- Participating in projects and working groups, with the opportunity to take leadership roles depending on the nature and scope of the task.
The position is characterized by collaboration and coordination between different units and functions, which requires you to build and maintain a strong network. As part of the staff, you will work broadly and independently with varied and dynamic tasks.
Qualifications:
- Officer (OF1-2/OR7-8) with completed relevant training in FM supply management.
- Completed and approved training for supply management in the PRIO system.
- Basic knowledge of FM material processes.
- Basic knowledge of staff duties.
- Driver's license, at least category B.
Meritorious:
- Approved training for supply management in the PRIO system.
- Approved FM logistics officer training.
- Training in the LIFT and IOR systems.
- Experience in military unit development and defense planning.
- Experience in material maintenance planning.

You have a good ability to build and maintain relationships, which is crucial for success in a role with many contact points. Your collaboration skills are very good, and you contribute to creating effective teams through humility and attentiveness to others' experiences and perspectives. You have a good sense of order and a strong ability to combine detail focus with a holistic perspective. In a changing environment, you act solution-oriented and can quickly adapt to new conditions.

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period (does not apply if you are already employed within the Swedish Armed Forces).
Start date according to agreement.
Work location: Stockholm.
