1. Military Police Battalion
The 1. Military Police Battalion is a military unit with the primary task of maintaining public order and security within the Armed Forces. The battalion's tasks can be divided into three overarching types:
- Security operations, e.g., personal protection, escort, and surveillance.
- Order operations, e.g., monitoring, patrolling, and searching.
- Support operations, e.g., traffic regulation, evacuation, and training.
Specifically about 136. Training Squadron
The 136. Training Squadron trains conscripts for both the 1. Military Police Battalion and the 13. Security Battalion. Conscripts at the squadron are trained as military police, reconnaissance soldiers, and command and logistics soldiers. The training duration for these soldiers varies between 10-15 months. The squadron also trains employed soldiers and officers. There are good opportunities for participation in training and exercise activities that, at times, extend across the entire country.
Main Responsibilities
The training adjutant supports the unit's leaders and is responsible for IT and telecommunications for the squadron. Furthermore, the adjutant has logistical responsibility for conscripts regarding food, travel, and reimbursements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Completed military service
- Driver's license B
- Field test: 13:30 and Multitest: 125 points
Personal Qualities
The position places high demands on independence, teamwork, and structure.

- Previous experience in assistant duties
- RAKEL instructor training
- Negotiator
- Service as GSS

Employment form: GSS/K, fixed-term employment for a maximum of 8 years with the possibility of extension. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

The Life Guards is one of the largest units in the Armed Forces with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international missions. We guard the royal palaces, we have security and ground combat units.
